So far day 2 is going much better than day 1…
- Juice 1 – 1 grapefruit, 1 apple, asparagus, cucumber, romaine
- Juice 2 – 1/3 cup blueberries, 6 strawberries, 1 peach, cucumber, romaine
- Juice 3 – 1 pear, 1 lemon, asparagus, cucumber, romaine
- Juice 4 – 1 mango, 1 orange, cucumber, romaine
I need to go to the store tomorrow so I can get kale and turnip greens and other things besides romaine to use as the leafy green base. Red cabbage and beets also make excellent juice and provides varied health benefits. In addition to juicing, I had 2 salt free rice cakes with strawberry jam topped with chia seeds as a snack. I’m currently drinking green tea and had some coffee this morning. Like I said, so far so good. I am planning on seeing The Conjuring around dinner time this evening so the chicken liver meal adventure will wait until tomorrow.
I still feel bloated from the vacation feasting but am down about 2 pounds from yesterday (mostly just water weight I’d guess but still). Healthy choices for the rest of today will result in a better tomorrow.
